Well i don't know about that but i have seen a screenshot of a ship that is supposed to be the replacement of the Sovereign class and it has class 13 phasers to begin with but i am sure that they can be upgraded to a higher level.

Would be nice if they offer some custom weapon platforms for each race. I created a few for my own MOD for the Conquest Campaign section of the game. They will have to provide the standard (of course) but the new stuff should reflect future weapon advancement.

...Also, I hope the new engine for this game will provide a better effect for a ship when it cloaks. I like the shimmer effect in the movies.

Is this a fan made game(like Excal) or one that will be in stores? Is there an official website link, im not seeing one in this thread?
