Desktop crash
 

Yo, tell me if anyone else here has this problem: After installing STF3 and I try to run it, it will go through the opening cutscenes, as usual, then will start to load the main menu, but before it even let's you explore or do ANYthing, it straight up crashed to the desktop, and closes SFC3.

I'm getting sick and tired of it also, I just did a complete wipe of my harddrive and reinstalled everything from scratch last week, and NO games at all work, SFC3 don't even give me a CHANCE to try and get it to work. It's getting annoying.

Please someone help me out before I thrash my computer in a violent and horrific manner

if you have direct x 9 on your pc then that is the problem, the game doesnt recognize it.

if you go to

then you can download the beta patch which has a fix on it + other stuff.

or go to
http://www.st-sfc3.com/
then click on downloads and you can find the fix.
if its not that i'll eat my hat. (If i had an edible hat)
