Thats no excuse!!! Don't forget TOS had excellent music and so does SG-1 now.

Besides, music is better than special effects. Why do think so many people prefer TOS to the other series' even though its special effects were laughable?

Actually...... I don't like TOS music........ I don't have the interest for those kind of music, very cheesy.............. no offense though...........

Don't forget that the music in TOS lives on in the movies! Even Nemesis had the fanfare from TOS. But seriously, even if you don't like the music in TOS, its still MUCH better than any music in any other series. Look at the others, none of them have had any memerable pieces of music (apart from the title and maybe Archer's Theme in Enterprise). Ok, so you could argue that Archer's theme in Enterprise is good, i'm not saying it isn't. But when its only ONE and TOS had loads or different themes... Well you get the idea. Weather you like it or not, TOS had much more original music that actually stuck in your head wereas everything else in the other series just goes through one ear and out the other.

Ok watever........... that's your opinion.............

well i love all star trek music, i really like anything remotly klingon.

and i love the voyager battle music in the last few series:love:

When You think about it, the music to these things isn't about the notes entirely. If you look at it as the composer would, the music could tell a story or be desicgned to give a certian feel about the show itself. Take voyager's theme for example. Goldsmith wrote it in such a way that kinda sugests mystery or being in search of something. Now think about what the entire "Voyager" series was about. Uhh... Ge they were lost! they were looking for a way home! BINGO! Now DS9 used symbols a lot. Every time one of these symbols "Went Off" screen changed to a different part around the Space station. This kind of suggests a new suprise all over the place. Now think about The DS9 series. There were defenately plenty of suprises. I know. This probaly seems realy :sleep: but hey! I couldn't help but to state my opinion I hope I help some of you out. :cya:

As the previous guy, all theme songs rock but for me the voyager theme kindof sucked, in my opinion. Also my opinion is that the music that they used reflects the age that series is based in.
For Enterprise they used a song that had, you can say energy in it which made it uplifting. The other songs which are instramental are more of reflective, majestic, powerful music which symbolizes the magnificance that we've reached.

Of course this is what I think, and I don't care what people think about what I think so just shove it up your...........
