Lt. Comm Breslin March 19th, 2003 11:39 AM

Enterprise-E

I was looking at the schematic of the EE the other day and I noticed a lot of Bulkheads going in a diagonal way
Can anyone explain this or will I have to assimilate you all to find out?

wannabeatle March 23rd, 2003 11:37 PM

nanoprobes hurt.......

Lt. Comm Breslin March 27th, 2003 01:10 PM

Then Tell me before I use them!

Weyoun March 27th, 2003 03:23 PM

I would have to see a picture of what you are talking about before i could answer the question.

Eckie Thump March 31st, 2003 05:46 AM

Yeah, any chance of posting a pic of what you mean? Sounds intriguing.

Its hard to see but if you look real close its there!:uhm:

Eckie Thump April 5th, 2003 11:42 PM

Hmmmm?
Tricky one that.
I have poured through A LOT of schematics and found nothing to explain them.
At first I thought they might be turco-lift shafts. But on getting the turbo lift shematics I found none run diagonally anyway.
They may be Jeffries tubes, but then why are only a few highlighted on the shematics in that way?
Perhaps they are just what you originally thought, bulkheads.

Can anyone else shed more light on this topic?
I hate not knowing:(

Lt. Comm Breslin April 6th, 2003 12:45 PM

I was also putting way to much thought into this one.
Thinking along the lines of separation, but then I noticed there are so many of them, 12 by my count. Possible might have a higher structural integrity field with them.:uhm:

y2ktm2 April 12th, 2003 01:57 PM

turbolifts?, or maybe just stairs

Eckie Thump April 13th, 2003 02:50 AM

According to tech manuals they're not turbolifts.
Turbolifts don't travel diagonally.

They may be Jeffries tubes though?

Lt. Comm Breslin April 13th, 2003 03:33 AM

Still feel as though that wouldnt be right, you could bump your head a lot when you get to the top of the shaft!

y2ktm2 April 13th, 2003 12:00 PM

thers a hole at the top for your head

Charlemagne April 13th, 2003 06:04 PM

Can Jeffries Tubes run diagonally?

y2ktm2 April 13th, 2003 06:11 PM

how should I know

ThunderchiId April 14th, 2003 06:10 PM

They could very well be turbolifts. They could also be energy transfer conduits, some sort of ducting, internal crawl passages (But they're kind fo big for that), etc. But they're most likely turbolifts. Tech manuals have been known to have flaws. I'd go with the turbolift or transfer conduit theories.

y2ktm2 April 14th, 2003 06:47 PM

Trek manuals are made by fans, not Paramount

Eckie Thump April 15th, 2003 01:24 AM

Well most of mine are made by the Okudas and Rick Sternbach. I believe they know more about Star Trek than anybody. (Alive)
Paramount is a TV studio that pays for the shows to be made. They know f**k all about Star Trek!

y2ktm2 April 15th, 2003 06:03 PM

Lt. Comm Breslin April 19th, 2003 03:01 PM

Well, I have no head left, good idea about those Plasma or energy conduits

MESSAGE EDITED

-NEVER let me see that again. Consider this your first and final warning. ~OmegaDir

Lt. Comm Breslin April 19th, 2003 05:06 PM

First of all: Its spelt "sHould" not sould, absolutely instead of absolutly and think of a capital letter at the start of every sentence.
Second: If you don’t like it, don’t post anything.
Third: You have never watched (and understood) an episode of Star Trek

y2ktm2 April 21st, 2003 06:43 AM

Master yoda, why are you even in a Star Trek forum, Star Wars is just down the hall....
Amazing, You just joined and your already causing trouble

For crying out loud, you don't even have an Avatar yet

Lt. Comm Breslin April 21st, 2003 06:57 AM

Thats sorted him!

y2ktm2 April 21st, 2003 07:19 AM

I hate people like that....
I hope he never darkens our door again

Lt. Comm Breslin April 21st, 2003 07:41 AM

Same here, he just spoils the mood:(
Ah well:)
More Star Trek:agreed: !

Eckie Thump April 21st, 2003 09:28 AM

Not having the benefit of seeing his post I can't really reply, but surely the guy deserves another chance regardless of what was said?
Or was it that bad?

y2ktm2 April 21st, 2003 12:22 PM

He's been causing troble on several different ST forum Threads, saying that Trekkies are stupid, for no reason

One of these days, Full-scale war will brake out between ST and SW fans, and I'll be there......

Lt. Comm Breslin April 21st, 2003 03:00 PM

He showed no remorse, but my Starfleet side kicks in and says that everyone deserves a second chance!:)

y2ktm2 April 21st, 2003 03:08 PM

but your borg....

Lt. Comm Breslin April 21st, 2003 03:13 PM

Yes but I was in Unimatrix 0 and I just have to pretend to be borg until I escape or capture my ship! Its not easy I'm in a borg Cube with 10000 drones on board

P.S. Dont tell anyone!

Now lets not be too hasty maybe he will repent for his actions!
I give him another week to say that he's sorry:lol:

y2ktm2 April 23rd, 2003 03:38 PM

NEVER!!!!!

Charlemagne April 23rd, 2003 05:06 PM

If he does not conform, he MUST be assimilated.

Lt. Comm Breslin April 24th, 2003 04:42 PM

6 days remain!

y2ktm2 April 24th, 2003 04:45 PM

BWAHAHAHAHAHA.........

If he does not apologise in 6 days, I will have no choice but to declare war....

Charlemagne April 24th, 2003 05:50 PM

Is that eastern or Pacific Time? LOL

Or are we going by stardate?:D

y2ktm2 April 24th, 2003 05:52 PM

dusn't matter, I've got my Phaser ready......

Lt. Comm Breslin April 25th, 2003 03:40 PM

Although my Type 3 Compression riffle is armed ready (and the Starfleet survival guide beside me) I will not use unless I am fired upon. In what’s now 5 days to go, I will dislike that individual. He said something wrong and has said nothing anymore. If he stay's out of my way, I will be happy!

y2ktm2 April 25th, 2003 03:42 PM

I will hunt him down and....... well, I don't know

Lt. Comm Breslin April 25th, 2003 03:44 PM

I will not be able to tolerate such behaviour from a fellow Starfleet officer.

y2ktm2 April 25th, 2003 03:54 PM

I'm JUST SO MAD!!!!!!

Lt. Comm Breslin April 25th, 2003 03:58 PM

Maybe you need to blow off some steam in the holodeck!?

y2ktm2 April 25th, 2003 04:01 PM

no, I'm alright.....
(on my darker side, I secreatly want a war, so we can woop them)
(actualy, I've seen other SW fans like him on the ST vs. SW threads)

Lt. Comm Breslin April 25th, 2003 04:03 PM

Where are these mad threads?
If they are in the Star wars Forum then I dont want to know

y2ktm2 April 25th, 2003 04:07 PM
