Lol, if you were like me once, you wouldn't be bothered so much. That link to the ST v SW thread on BC forum... I was part of that! I took abuse from Thunderchild a long time before you started posting there. His opinionated comments that are worded so's they're offensive but not quite illegal in the forums... I put up with those for a few pages, but then just left. There's no point indulging them, really, they'll get worse if you humour them. Y'know what they say about children. If they annoy you, ignore them, they'll get bored and go sulk somewhere. Only way of dealing with them.
Anyway, I'm off to bed now, so see you all in a day or two.

Its not surrendering if you don't let them get you into a fight in the first place... and the only time backing out is a bad thing is if you stand to loose something... against some of the flaming, insulting kids, you don't loose anything but your temper, and that results in bans all over the place, icky business. Just take the high road. Don't drop to their level. Its like kids joking about **********s. [edit]OK, you can't actually say it in here. Lets just say that a meaning for the word is the same as 'jolly', and 'merry'.

Sigh... Star Trek has no authority... its a TV show. If you start attacking people over it, unless you work for the show and stand to loose money from such people, then you're as bad as the Wars fans who do it to us. Just don't lower yourself to their level.

Its a forum... no-one knows who you really are. No-one is physically attacking you. Unless you let it, no harm is done. If you let harm be done, they've achieved their goal - and thats letting them win and walk all over you, not ignoring them. I wonder if that yoda guy is smiling as he reads what he's done...

I'ts easy to say that, sure, but you have probably never been tormented every day of your life, just because you are different, not as social (I wan't tormented because of ST)
