Rep Power: 42 | Re: Star Trek Villian I'd love to say Khan, but as much as I loved him he simply didn't have the dimensions that Gul Dukat had. Until the very end of DS9 where they went overboard with the magical spiritual crap, Dukat was the best villain in Star Trek by a long yard - and is even a contender for the best villain on TV, full stop. The episode where he and Sisko crash-landed on a planet together was a particularly stand-out moment for his character, in my eyes. Helped by the acting more than the writing perhaps; Alaimo was the only actor in Star Trek history to nail his character right from the get-go. It's a criminal shame that he doesn't get more roles. |
