My favorite ship is the Connie refit. What's yours?

I have to agree with the Constitution-refit class. Particularly in STVI, it looks absolutely fucking gorgeous. It's my favourite class of all time by a long margin.

In second place I'd have to say the Excelsior-class, again, as seen in STVI (the camera work on the models in that film was simply sublime, easily outshining modern CGI). Of all the homages to the Constitution-class, the Excelsior is simply the most natural. It's like the difference between a 1960s Mustang and a modern Mustang - yes, very different, but also very simple and still beautiful in its own way.

I've always liked the Miranda class - it just looks like something built along very logical lines.

Constitution Class, before the refits were introduced.

I'm a sucker for classic ships!

I seem to recall one episode of TNG where the Enterprise was some sort of warship in an alternate universe or something. I forget which Enterprise it was, or any of the other details of the episode. I just remember that they were at war with someone, and I rather liked the look of that ship.
