Did Scotty ever make it to the Norpin Colony?

I've been rewatching TNG from the very beginning for the last 2 months, and I just got to James Doohan's last Trek TV appearance in "Relics" (6x04), and it was a real treat to see the episode again.

Just curious as to whether Scotty made it to Norpin in Shuttlecraft Goddard. Were there any further adventures for Scotty from that point on, in some other format (IE, novels, comics, etc).

I've just started doing this, but I've taken the opportunity to do it in HD, really makes the episodes fresher, seen them all so often I can't watch vanilla TNG anymore without getting bored.

To answer the question, I doubt it, I think he probably went touring the galaxy until he died to be honest.

Hey, so have I! I saw that episode two days ago! Though I'm already to the end of season six, what with the abundance of time I have.

We never see Scotty again. What he gets up to is left up to our imaginations. Although given that EVERY SHUTTLE EVER LAUNCHED EVER in TNG is either crippled, crashes into a planet, or otherwise-manhandled by the universe, I very much doubt whether he made it more than five minutes without exploding, being de-aged, abducted by Romulans, or otherwise-manhandled by the universe.

Since you phrased it this way. In my Version of Star Trek 11 (created 2003; after Nemesis), Scotty was in it. Instead of Norpin. Picard/Enterprise came across Scotty in the Celtive system (unknown planet) which was a semi-retirement planet. Scotty talked Picard into letting him join to help fight against The Borg invasion.

The Enterprise was destroyed over Earth, however in the spin-off(from the movie)... there were survivors including at least one from engineering. There was also a hint that Geordi survived as well. So, it was possible Scotty survived also, but it was never mentioned if he did survive or not and it was assumed that he did die on Enterprise.

The cannon book lore has Montgomery Scott currently as the head of Starfleet Corp of Engineering.
