| I think a Voyager movie would be great if St XI hadn't been released. I agree with Jetfreak, making a Voy movie now would be even more confusing. They should have made one a year or 2 after Nemisis.

| I would agree, they should have followed on from Nemesis, rather than to go back in time, and change everything again. JJ didn't even have to use the Enterprise and co, he could have used a new vessel, and set it all in the 25th century. Obviously he had his reasons for doing what he did, and I can respect that, him doing a Trek movie in the 25th century, would have firstly limited him to do what he wanted, and secondly, he'd have really been doing it for Trek fans. The whole point of XI was to reboot Trek, and get a whole new type of fan. My only annoyance at the movie (on the big scale), is how they've seemingly scaled their starships, having the Constitution larger than the Sovereign. Saying that, I still believe they can continue the typical TNG storyline if they so wished. I however, wouldn't have it 'feature' the Enterprise, at least, not as the main ship, but would instead have something a little different. Maybe it could be a movie that is based around a small taskforce, that (at some point in the movie) finds itself at DS9. This would give us a chance to see a few familier faces, and would allow everyone something different (aside from your typical Trek storyline). It should be after Nemesis, and the fall of the Romulan Empire (Destruction of Romulus) should be mentioned. In addition to that, some mention of the Jem Hadar and Cardassian Union should come to light. Maybe we'd even get to see that Jem Hadar (I forget his name, but the one who wasn't addicted to the white). I live in hope. One thing is for sure though, in my eyes, there is nothing to base a Voyager movie on. There is nothing left. If they were to do a new Voyager movie, it would be a storyline from scratch, and to be quite frank, we don't need it.

Anyway, considering the highly decentralised and adaptable nature of the Borg I doubt it will have a significant impact. Quote:

EDIT - And I just realised this thread hasn't been touched since June. Necrotastic!

| I don't really see how a movie could be made. Assuming most of the crew has gone separate ways, the plot would become pretty chaotic trying to follow even just a small handful of them.

| ya i'd rather not have a voyager movie. I heard that the cast never really got along very well to so it would be hard to do one.

| There is a novelization of the series that continues Voyager after the last episode. It is ok…a little weak, but not bad. I don’t think a movie would do very well. I think the direction the franchise has gone with the whole reboot in an alternate reality is doing well at the moment. NG beyond the gaming world or novelization on the big screen just isn’t doing well for the franchise among fans and moviegoers, so very much doubt Paramount is going to give a green light to any script suggestions to the Voyager series.
