My favorites are the First Contact uniforms and the dress-uniforms from Insurrection. I also like the uniforms from The Wrath of Kahn.

Maybe you should delete DS9 uniforms if that is possible, because in the first two seasons their essentially the late TNG uniforms. In seasons 3 and 4 they are basically Voyager uniforms and the seasons after that they are First Contact uniforms, just an observation. :)

No, the Voyager uniforms are originally from DS9... only time you see anyone on DS9 wearing TNG uniforms is part of the first episode. The black with division colours on the shoulders was the uniform on DS9 till "The Rapture", which first aired just after First Contact came out, after that they had the new ones from the rest of the 5th season till the end.

My pick would be the newer uniforms first seen in First Contact, or the future timeline ones first seen in "All Good Things..."(I think.)

Early Trek films, those uniforms had some style, the First Contact and later-uniforms weren't that bad too.

I like the first contact ones.

One thing that im curious of though, in first contact when they are going to go down to the planet they get in the lift and picard says something like "computer, mid 21st century civilian clothing",does this mean the uniforms can alter their apperance to that of something else?

No, he told the computer that to replicate 21st century clothing for them to change into down in the transporter bay??????????What is close to what you are suggesting is Holograghic clothes which would only really work with a mobile emmiter like the EMH had

If they did why was the mobile emmitter so revolutionary and why did Picard ask the computer in the turbolift for it instead of ajusting it, I have the Oficial fact files and the sheet on the comunicator has nothing about a holocloths changing thing,Although it would be a good idea in the future fore the commbadge to include these as they could make an excellent diversion in a combat situation by having the commbadge hologram run and get sum bad guys to follow it leaving you in a great position of opertunity

I prefur the wells class era uniforms they are cool, Much better than anything else. Second choise for me is the uniforms from ST 6 Era they are classey.

I also like the 2nd TNG uniform as it just looks good-I hate the Star Trek 1 uniforms,the Voyager uniforms, the Early TNG uniforms(Which were change as Patrick Stewart was being injured by them and so had to have a new uniform)

Jeri Ryan had to change from the Silver on as it was cutting off blood flow in her neck when she turned her head. Too bad as i much prefur the silver one. heh heh heh.

I like the4 uniforms that looked like uniforms the Blood red and redstrip
The rest are like pajammas

and the Nemesis stuff is just dreary and dark...Belongs on a Romulan

Voyagers' and DS9 are my next fav.

Yeah I think the Red uniforms are great too,they lasted from the 2278-2340's from USS Bozeman -USS Enterprise C

I have a question which has been nagging me. Well two in fact.

1. Why does when voyager make contact with the Alpha Quadrant dont they upgrade their uniforms ? They obviously know about them.

2. In the last episode of DS9 we see Starfleet officers in the background wearing the old syle uniforms, why ?

Good answer to the first one.

They could quite easily have found the time. No offence Gavin but if getting home was so important they wouldent have had time for thing like swanning around the holodeck in various programmes or other recreational activites.

Perhaps Starfleet deemed it as inimportant for Voyager as the Transmitions Voyager gets had limited space so fashion would not be a nessecary detail they needed to know
