The radiatin from the core was harmless to humans-when they figured out that they were the silverblood thingys they were able to see that the warp core was killing them and that the only way to survive was to find another class y planet

Well, I still don't think the warp core killed them, but it could have started their disintegration or catalyzed it.
It's too bad the regular voyager didn't develop one.
Anyway, we could switch this to a new thread. Back to the topic.

Not really, what we were just talking about was two Voyager episodes that included demon planets in the plot.
This thread is about the fact planets in Star Trek seem very similar and they beam down in Uniforms etc....
Generaly speaking it is usally safe to beam down to a planet, But as we have seen in some episodes they beam down wearing EV suits. But it wouldent be much of a episode if they beamed down into a safe environment all the time.

Usually it is safe, though one of the first ENT episodes springs to mind, they beam to a planet, spend the night, and start hallucinating. An EV suit could have prevented this, even though the planet was supposidly class M.

Yeah it was the transporter which filled crewman Ethan Novackavic's body with leaves-hence why I prefer using a shuttle

Yes, but the transporter was new when that happened. By the time of TNG,DS9 and VOY that wouldn't happen. Although on very rare occasions something goes wrong.
