Re: When On Planets The radiatin from the core was harmless to humans-when they figured out that they were the silverblood thingys they were able to see that the warp core was killing them and that the only way to survive was to find another class y planet |
Re: When On Planets Well, I still don't think the warp core killed them, but it could have started their disintegration or catalyzed it. It's too bad the regular voyager didn't develop one. Anyway, we could switch this to a new thread. Back to the topic. |
Re: When On Planets it is on topic sort as we were talking about the "demon planet" |
Re: When On Planets Not really, what we were just talking about was two Voyager episodes that included demon planets in the plot. This thread is about the fact planets in Star Trek seem very similar and they beam down in Uniforms etc.... Edit: Thread on those episodes here: http://forums.filefront.com/showthre...10#post3361210 |
Re: When On Planets Generaly speaking it is usally safe to beam down to a planet, But as we have seen in some episodes they beam down wearing EV suits. But it wouldent be much of a episode if they beamed down into a safe environment all the time. |

Re: When On Planets Yes, and one crew member came back having been combined with some of the vegitation on the planet, but that might have been the transporter, I cant remember.... |
Re: When On Planets Yeah it was the transporter which filled crewman Ethan Novackavic's body with leaves-hence why I prefer using a shuttle |
Re: When On Planets Yes, but the transporter was new when that happened. By the time of TNG,DS9 and VOY that wouldn't happen. Although on very rare occasions something goes wrong. |
Re: When On Planets Yep it was new although he was a blue shirt, why could he not be a red shirt,it would have made tings more, how shall I say, entertaining to watch him being anatomically inverted tehehehehehehe |
