I remember that episode "Shades of grey" where the away team dident pick up that vine and it jabbed Cmdr Riker in the leg.

Remeber that Poison Wesley avoided on Rubicon 3 when riker stopped that guard from killing him-no sensor picked that up,seriously though the silicon virus that Sato and Tucker picked up when they met the Organians
