As there have been several complaints about the Voyager-discussion I prepared some rules for this forum and specifically this thread. Read them carefully and act according to them or we'll have to close threads.

Except for the rules of the Entertainment-forum, which of course also apply here, I'd like to "import" some rules from the Pub which are necessary for such discussions:

Do not flame, attack or demean other users.
The part about flaming should be familiar, but please consider the attacking and demeaning; you are allowed to (politely) disagree but you are not allowed to use personal attacks, attacks on opinions, beliefs or intellect. Treat others with respect, don't constantly ignore what they said, don't try to undermine their credibility.


PM and Report posts
If you are attacked by another user this is no justification to retaliate. Report the post or PM me or another moderator or supermoderator to deal with the situation.

Put some effort into it
Opinions are fine, but if you back up your posts with some kind of source or evidence your posts will probably have a better effect.

Be gracious in defeat
You are all Trekkies after all, so if someone makes a good point and backs it up with evidence you can at least admit to that.

Also I want to add another rule, Please do not discuss anything related to Star Trek games. You can talk about it in General Gaming Forums. Thanks!!

I'd like to add a new rule:

Don't ask for Star-Trek games or how to get them. The reason is two-fold:

A. It breaks Nusent's rule

B. It's a potential spark for wares discussion and mention.

I'll keep the current asking threads for now but they will be moved. Any further threads will be moved or deleted.
