Indeed. I think the Captain, and Commander are going to be from different universes.

Cause the one I know of, has a Captain William Riker Troi (say that to his face, and you'll wind up in the brig.), and a Cmdr Deanna Troi. :deal:

From the information I found on their names and the other information posted about their being a holodeck I think thats a very real possibility.

Re: Enterprise may have a chance

now that seems like VERY sensible idea there... wow, that would just be amazing... how else would riker and troi get into Enterprise? if they weren't on the holo-deck of the Titan, can you just imagine the riots there would be?

besides, the title of the episode (These are the voyages...) seems right... first voyages of the Titan... can't wait to see the Titan...

BTW, sorry if my post is all screwed up, i think as i type, and the Backspace key has no meaning to me

Edit: phew! just made the edit deadline! a few facts i found on startrek.com:

Re: Enterprise may have a chance

The Tribble came from an original TOS episode. The Enterprise visited the space station K7, which was being pressured by Klingons (I forgot why).

Uhura met a traveling space salesman on the station, selling a small gerbel thing, and she thought it was cute. Eventually the Tribbles overran the Enterprise, and the K7 station. An old saying here is "They were multiplying like rabbits". They also didn't like Klingons at all, so any time they got near one, they made a lot of noise.

Kirk sentenced the salesman to 30 years community service, removing the Tribbles from the station. Scotty beamed the ones into the engineering section of a Klingon D-7 battlecruiser. "Where dey'll be no tribble at all."

Captain Benjamin Sisco, and Commander Worf paid a visit to the station, because DS9 had become infested with tribbles. Sisco went undercover as Ensign Sisco of the Federation Starship Enterprise NCC-1701. Worf mostly just hung around the bar, where the tribble salesman was.

aaah... Trials and Tribblations (the DS9 episode)... i still can't figure out how they got Sisko to interact with Kirk in that episode... Kirk looked exactly like he did in TOS, so i couldn't have been the "current" Shatner...

if you're talking about the DS9 episode where they travel back to K-7, i think you need to see it again. that's not at all what happens :p

the same was as they made forrest gump (also produced by paramount). they rebuilt various TOS sets, filmed on blue screen, played with the light and cut/pasted it with the old TOS episode.

it seemed REALLY damn good... i actually couldn't tell if they used stock footage, or used a professional Shatner impersonator :)
