When Jadzia Dax died, for instance, people cared -- she was a fleshed-out character with depth, a personality, and a long, well-covered life story. When one of the hollow zombies of Enterprise dies, few people will care. Mainly because the people watching will be more interested in the explosion which killed the character than the actual death of the character, but there you go. |
