Picard....PICARD! What kinda crap is that, James T. Kirk my friends, James T. Kirk, the best captain ever! He managed to fight and knock boots with atleast one of every species in the freaking galaxy, that deserves our respect and your vote! James T. Kirk the original galactic sugardaddeh!
yeah... whats saving humanity to having the same person who threatened humanity wanting to mate with you?
Hey, even Q's get bored sometimes Or many times, in DeLancie's case...

besides... Picard and his Galaxy/Sovvie NEVER stood upto the Borg Voyager did
You're right. Riker took Enterprise-D up against the Cube. Maybe I should change my vote.
Though Picard did go up against (literally) a Romulan... thing.
janeway. it really takes some skills to survive seven years in the delta quadrant without any help from starfleet. one ship with a limited number of crewmembers and still she managed to get them home more or less in one piece.
(avery brooks on the other hand has to be the best actor in ST)

Brooks WAS one of the best actors, but he did overact a lot too
Xavier to Storm: "You of all people know how fast the weather can change..."

It wasn't skill. Voyager had a "God" mode. It was indestructable. Even if it got destroyed, there was always a temporal anaomaly to undestroy it.
I believe they were aided by those Time Traveling Starfleet Officers as well.
Tell me, my friend, have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?
not much else i can say, he's Capt, Picard. I remember watching a interview from a director of a moive in which Patrick Stewert was in, and the director said the first time i saw Stewart i was just amazed, it was Capt Picard in the flesh. thats how i would feel if i met him in real life. I enjoy the next generation the most out of the series.
I can agree with that. Capt. Jean Luc Picard was a great captain in the Star Trek world. I would also say that another captain thats up there in the list in my opinion is Capt. Benjamin Sisko. Not much else can be said for Sisko, afterall he was the Emisarry to Bajor, He was instrumental in defeating the Dominion in the war, and he's just one of the best captains that I've seen in Star Trek.
Yeah, Braxton was kind of interesting before he took a dive off the shallow end of the pool. Thinking of Braxton and the time traveling Starfleet crew gives me an idea for a new thread.
