The controls, as far as the keyboard is concerned, aren't that much different than in A2 or BC. In Bridge Commander, if you chose to fly the ship yourself, you had to use the WSAD keys to control it. The same type of set up is in here.
I think what bothers people the most about the controls, is the weapons lock. Apparently the weapons lock is weaker when a ship is far away from the target, and stronger when you're close to the target. But some have told me that the weapons have roughly the same hit/miss regardless of distance. This sounds like the weapons need to be adjusted some.
I should be getting my copy of Legacy Today or on Monday, so I'll be able to find out for myself just how tricky it is.

Has anyone else noticed how the fonts on the ships is wrong as well? I mean, it's a minor detail, but still...You'd think companies like Bethesda and Mad-Doc would have access to the right fonts.
Oh well, nothing that a little modding won't fix ^_^

Screw around with the map editor and you find some interesting things
The Giant 8 Ball Of Doom! LOL. Youve had the game for a day and your already messing around with stuff in it.
The fonts on the ships does need to be changed. Also, in the various web videos released over the year, I noticed the warp flashes sucked. Were they changed for the final version?
