| I've already got Direct X 9.0c installed. I just installed the patch (v1.01 beta 2 build v534b) and still get the error. SFC3.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module binkw32.dll at 001B:3001FECD, YUV_blit_16bpp_mask()+0349 bytes Also, when this happens, it resets my display resolution to 640x480. I've also tried changing my display settings to 16-bit then running it, but I get the same error. As well, I've tried checking "Disable visual themes" in the Compatbility tab in the shortcut's properties, and still I get this error. I'm running on an nVidia GeForce FX5200, 512MB ram, Athlon XP 2200+ CPU. |

| Good, you've done your research, so I don't have to list those methods. Uhhhh..... I dunno, maybe Victory's got something I don't know about......

| Graceful.. lmao. Here's a few things to try. Go to your Start Menu and type in services.msc You should then have a list pop up of all the services Windows is running. Scroll down and find "Universal Plug&Play" Right Click and hit Properties. Next to where you see Startup Type, open the drop down menu and click Disable. Also while your there, do the same to the Windows Firewall. Also, make sure you don't have any mouse software running. For example, I have a Logitech Marble Mouse with 4 buttons. There was software that came with it to allow you to program the buttons, with that software running the game crashes constantly. Try that and see what happens |

| What version of Windows do you have? Do you have SP2 installed, if so where did you get the download? Another thing you may want to try, run a Google search for "DirectX End User Runtime" there should be a fix for DX. It worked with the older version 9.0b so it may help you out. I had to do this to get my stupid thing to load into Dynaverse. Try that and see. |
