Hull integrity of ships help

ok i have 2 ships that are completely armed to the teeth (Intergity Voyager and the delta flyer are fully equiped with full phaser and photon banks max shileding and max hull) but for some reason the flyer get destroyed on 1 hit to open hull but voyager can go on forever with no sheiling at all why is that. if there is any way to make the hull integrity stonger please tell me oh and yes i have armor V class on my ships

please someone reply soon i really want to know how to boost the resistance agains enemy fire!

Yeh i can help if you open Defaultcore in excel where it says "Hull cost" or if u do it in notepad the 5th catergory just change the number.
