Need help with my model
 

I've been trying to get a kitbash I've made working for sometime now, but with no success. My main problem is that when I go to try and view my ship in Model Viewer, it doesn't appear and Model Viewer closes. I can't make textures very well and help is needed with that as well. I have gmax and Milkshape, no 3ds Max it costs too much. Any suggestions and people willing to help with textures would be appreciated. I've attached an image of waht I've done so far for anyone that wants to see. Please reply.
