Adding more ships to pirates

Even though I am still trying to get the game, I would like to know how to get more ships to pop up a pirates. :uhoh: I was getting tired of fighting the same ships all the time (ex: ferengi):bawl: . If anyone could help thank you.:naughty:

That would require scripting, and even though I tried I can't get the direct X 9.0 SDK to work in order to script, BAH!!
