i hated milkshape. it's a good program, but since the plugin won't let you make break mods, well........... I never dealt with it that much. Now 3d max I like... But it's expensive, and I can't rightfully tell you where to get it..
Ebay occasionally has 3ds Max 5 running around there.....
Sandtrooper, just buy the thing, it's just $20, and the only thing it's pretty much good for is adjusting HP's around (That's what I used it for)..... also D/L the help file from the download page at their website, with that you'll get the hang of Milkshape.....
Personal opinions are endorsed by me, myself, and I...
Sorta getting the hang of it, well, since Victory123 said that the A2 Fed Outpost was done already, I will keep it in my archive (also the Construction vessel I was gonna do, its the original one, not P81's, his is a workbee conversion), the base doesn't wish to have textures...I don't know why (all the A1 buildings had some sort of thing to keep its textures....)...No changes to model, the gap thing is how the base is built...gravity units must keep the Power Nodes hovering like that..(see pic 3 with the arrow pointing to them)
Note: What I ment about the leave thing in the other base topic was I abandoned the model...if it was already converted, then o well....
Commondore Sandtrooper, commanding the starship Warhammer IIC, a Drengnis-class Marauder.
I never played around enough with Milkshape to get the hang of texturing with that program. I already knew how to use 3d Max so when I got the chance to get it I jumped and left milkshape in the dust. Sry I cant help too much.
