[Help] Endgame level lift (Elite Force 2)

In Elite Force II on the endgame level (the first level in the borg cube or sphere or whatever), when it gets to the point where they say:
"_____ is down there, but the only lift control is up here."
"Okay, you stay here and control and i'll take the lift."
I go onto the lift and HEAR the sound of it descending, but the lift does not physically decend. I have installed the RPG mod installed and a few maps but i dont think it could do this.

Someone please help me as i cannot proceed with the game

Hmm... I'm not familiar with this problem. Where's Chris when we need him?

I doubt those custom maps you added are the problem. Maybe the RPG mod you installed really is a problem here. I don't know. Try removing it and see what happens. Reinstall the game if you have to. I don't know what else to say.

Thanks for the reply anyways, I will try unistalling the RPG mod. (although it is only for multiplayer

Who is the author of the RPG mode? Is it Chrissstrahl?

I uninstalled it and the lift worked

Dunno why that did anything though

Ah, Ober is the author. Well, he visits this place from time to time, so maybe he'll see this thread and provide some solution for the problem that would allow you to play the game normally and have his RPG mod installed.

Try playing the game with RPG mod installed when you get past the elevator (which I assume you already did). Perhaps the elevator problem is the only problem it causes.

RPG mod doesnt change anything on this map so it cant be that.
Actually it doesnt change anything in the main game.
It creates a seperate folder and the stuff in it is only used when you start via the RPG-Mod shortcut.

The only mod that i know changes stuff on this map is Co-Op. But i played the map not long ago on a Co-Op server and it worked fine.
Maybe you have a old version of it installed?

Also i dont get why it would suddenly work.
Maybe a random bug... Im not sure.
