STV:EF (one) Holomatch problem Hi all, I haven't played in almost 2 years, but my son wants to play now. I reinstalled everyting, the single player works just fine. I can't get Holomatch to load. I keep getting: Initializing OpenGL driver ...getting DC: succeeded ...GLW_ChoosePFD( 32, 24, 8 ) ...35 PFDs found ...GLW_ChoosePFD failed ...GLW_ChoosePFD( 32, 24, 0 ) ...35 PFDs found ...GLW_ChoosePFD failed ...failed to find an appropriate PIXELFORMAT ...restoring display settings ...WARNING: could not set the given mode (3) ...setting mode 3: 640 480 FS ...using colorsbits of 16 ...calling CDS: ok ...created window@0,0 (640x480) ----- CL_Shutdown ----- RE_Shutdown( 1 ) ----------------------- GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem Any ideas? Why would it work in Single Player, and not in Holomatch?? |
Re: STV:EF (one) Holomatch problem Which version of the game are you using? Any mods installed? |
Re: STV:EF (one) Holomatch problem Try updating your video card drivers 7 |

Again, what really baffles me is that single player works no problem, only holomatch doesn't. I did NOT enter the CD key yet, but as I remember you only need that for Holomatch. |
Re: STV:EF (one) Holomatch problem you say: I remember you only need that for Holomatch. you surely meant only for Single Player....... what graphic card are you using? or did ya have EF installed and working before? try out deleting the configs, that might be the problem. also try using it with a clean install (aka no mods and custom maps installed on ef) and try turning off the firewall (might be the problem, but i dont know.... just give it a try) |

Again, WHY would it work in SINGLE PLAYER mode if there is a driver/config problem??? |
Re: STV:EF (one) Holomatch problem Well, I got it to work... stupid video drivers. I "updated" the driver, but the date stamp went from 2004 to 2003 version, but it works, go figure. |
