EF2 Multimatch Problem

Hi, i have Elite Force II and I like to play disintegration. When i play, i notice that when i actually hit the person, it just "bounces" off, yet when i hit the groud or walls, it kills them, yet i can clearly see that i hit the wall, and not them (by the burning mark and red line). Is this a game flaw? Lag? Or is something not calibrated properly? Its very annoying.

Maybe, you should Copy your saved games (if you play SP aswell), paste it somewhere safe, Uninstall EF2, install it again, and paste those saved games back into the Save folder (or what ever). If it still doesn't work, it has to be LAG. I know 5 people with an official (non burnt or downloaded) EF2 and desintegration works fine...

O yes, this is a legal copy. Ok, i dont play SP because i have completed it before my recent reformat. its a recent install.
