Mappers Searched for a new map
 

Hello.
as i already told in my previous topic, i am planning to make a dangercity2.
for that, i want to have a bit big crew, so everything can be done as fast as possible, and checked multiple times for bad things.
currently i have now 3 more people besides me.
Tman77 of this forum, 2 mates of mine (1 being reasonable exprienced, 1 being very low exprienced) and myself, unexprienced.
I am mainly checking how the work is going, and coordinating everything.
then i do together with the low exprienced mate of mine the easier parts. how more exprienced you are, how difficulter the tasks but that shouldnt be a problem if we are with 5 exprienced people.
i have also a mate of mine trying to get Cart, a author of a USS map.
but of him we arent sure.

i am not spoiling the details to anyone else, all details will be pm-ed to the persons who are interessed into helping. but not if not sure to help, then i only spoil a small part to intress ya =)

If my memory serves right.. (this was several years ago).. a friend of mine was wanting to do a conversion of Quatrix to ef.. another map by Kupfer (is that who does it?.. cant remember off hand)..

He said do whatever you want with the map file.. but you cant use any of the textures...

well, i already emailed him. i have already asked here if it was allowed to do it without email with permissions (as i still have no response, i think he isnt checking it anymore and/or stopped mapping) and Pille and the staff of effiles said as long as i properly credit Kupfer (yeah it was him who did efarea51 and dangercity and quatrix and more maps) i can map a dc2.
it is NOT around the same size, no it will be twice as big at least, i think a few times. what i am going to do is mainly making the map way bigger, more buildings which are enterable (althu it may be reduced to make it less laggy on a bit weak machines) and more secrets, getting a enterable train which rides in a circle in the city and mainly try to keep the dc touch in the map.

also, i think he isnt keeping his forum alive, as i dont see anything in ef mapping and dc2 forum
