Recruiting for a mod! So I'm making this mod about Voyager, after its return from the delta quadrant. And I'm looking for some people to help. Here are the positions that need to be filled. -Modeler -scripting -second mapper -second texturer if you are interested or have any comment please post them here. And if some of you didn't them, here's a couple of WIP screenies. Re: Recruiting for a mod! I can work in Maya (modeling, shading, animating, and everything, version 6.0), but you have to tell me what the output should be like. I dont know how to mod, if you can tell me what do i need to do that (every single thing), i will be happy to help. |

I was looking last night at UberRadiant program and it seams that it is used for making maps, and its easy, but help is not quite good, if anyone has better tutorial for UberRadiant contact me please, i dont want to figure it out on my oun. In what program can I make models of weapons and characters, and how do i use my one texture? Just a hint will do, i am a fast learner. Can I use Maya to model all this things? How to use maya files for the game, or 3ds files? It would be great if I could do all this things in Maya because it will ROCK! |
Re: Recruiting for a mod! Honnestly ever since you told me you could model in maya... I've checked all around the web ( I relly need someone who can model ! ) And sadely on 3ds max and lightwave seems to be compatible with EF2, Thats a darn... |
Re: Recruiting for a mod! I can model in Maya because I have it in school! I have a class just for that. It is not that hard, it is more easy than UberRadient!!!! I can't make cartoons as those on TV but I can doo my best. I can covert what I do in Maya to 3ds file but I don't know what to do with it afterwards. When I make a character and covert it to 3ds and want to put it in the game, what do I do with the file, and what I must use to make a characters, like bones, shaders,... and what I must NOT use? So many questions and no answers!!!!! |
Re: Recruiting for a mod! Even if you convert it to 3ds max, you still will need 3ds max to convert it to ef2... using the necessary plugins. Unless you do have it, there isn't much you can do... sorry! |
