Hmmm....that would be because WinXP is a worthless piece of crap. I could have coded a better OS in Qbasic. The only suggestions I have are:

1. Update your video card drivers
2. Run Windows Update (or go to Micro$oft's site)
3. Install Win98 SE

Im afraid this is a general problem with windows xp, every game ive played any game (including bc) under it ive had had problems with system crashes - its the way xp interacts with the drivers which is the problem... a new service pack is coming out shortly, hopefully this will fix this issue!

ive never had a problem with bc and xp. You check run error checks evrey other day and evreythings fine....

I admit though that window has been known for its glitches but the only reason i keep buying them is becouse i actuly wanna play my games when they come out not after a year when they become compataible with macs

I've run into a simular problem when i exit my game. Sometimes I get the BSOD also. Usually a chage of video drivers solves my problems. If you keep having problems under XP, try running the game in compatibility mode to an earlier OS.
