| I'm too cool to Post
Join Date: March 31st, 2003 Rep Power: 0 | These mods are not very good for my PC :) I havn't checked on BCmods for ages. I was quite suprised at the amount of content there was since the last time I was here. Of course, naturally I installed BC again and started modding.
Installing a few mods was fine, but when I wanted more....all hell broke loose!
It started with BC not starting to load, so I re-installed and tried to track down which mod caused the problem. After many, many, many installs I gave up. Shortly after, I realized even with a fresh install of BC, BCMP showed the wrong menu's. So I though that BCMP was to blame. I re-installed it along with BC, but it still has messed up menu's. In game, the menu's are normal but in BCMP I see all my previous ship installs in the menu's and "NON" of the origonals that come with BC. I uninstalled everything, BC, BCMP, and BCMI. Searched the registry, but found no keys relating to these programs. After restart, I noticed I lost my internet connection. Couldn't fix it, so I re-loaded an old registry backup. Good thing I backup every week. After restart, my internet was back. Hmm, since BCMI was the only different program that I uninstalled.....I BLAME IT!!!!! All I got to say is WTF? Now moving on, I re-installed everything...AND BCMP STILL HAS MESSED UP MENU'S!!! Installing singe ship mods does nothing, they don't even shop up in the game. If I install all of them, BC won't load again. ARGH!!!!!
Where are these menu's for BCMP stored? I couldn't find them anywhere, including the registry. I've been strugling through these mods all day, damn! |
