My BC doesn't start the 3d-engine :(
 

Hi all, I have a serious problem with my BC

The game starts to the main menu where I can start a new game, load, do a quick fight, config the game and so on. But if I want to start a new game or a quick fight, the game starts loading with this pic of the sovereign but it doesn't continue after some seconds. If I press ESC then, the menu opens, but I can't get back into the game screen where it loaded because BC + PC crashes then . Music is working but there is no 3d-graphics..

I downloaded the newest driver for my GF2 MX
and DX8.1...
Using Win98 SE 800 Mhz, 256 MB, 20 GB

Can someone help me please

Don't think it's a great help, just for information:

i have exactly the same problem with:

P4 1500 Asus P4B, WIN 98SE, GeForce4 MX440 with latest detonator, 256 MB RAM, DirextX 8.1b, Soundblaster PCI128 with latest drivers, patch 1.1 installed.

Many other D3D-Progs work fine, no probs except in BC :mad: .

I suppose, it is the SB128 PCI.... my Brother has my old system, only with another soundcard (terratec xlerate)... all works fine! I will try his soundcard now...
