BC doesn't start anymore
 

Hey Guys I got a big problem...
when I start Bridge Commander the 2 following messages appear:
D3D Render Creation Error
Error String renderer was:
"Creation failed: Desired fullscreen display mode not supported"

and teh next:

Runtime Error!
C:\Programme\Activision\BridgeCommander\stbc.exe
abnormal program termination

---help me please, whta can I do??
My last DL was the 4.0 C2 Galaxy Class.Game did start, but i could not see anything written in the boxes.I could click on my crew-members, but the camera just looked at them and i could do nothing

try deleting your cfg file in your main directory. should should the problem

indeed try that from jb06, if not check if you have directx 9.0c installed ;)

It started behaving like this after a download? That's why you should always make a back-up copy of BC before installing something new. Yeah, it takes up a lot of memory, but it can save you from some serious heartbreak later. Believe me... :(

i made a backup, but i couldn't find out where the mistake was.
it now starts after deleting the cfg, but it takes much time to load and when i get into qb the problem is still there.
I cant see anything written and cant select anything...

I dont know if the DL was the problem, but the error appeared after the dl

I don't recall having that problem with the C2X Galaxy 4.0, but if you do then maybe you could try reimporting it with BCSMC, or if that fails delete the file and try another one

I already replaced it by the stock galaxy, but somewhere has to be the mistake.
I have to delete the cfg each time...
but where could the mistake be that the screen of the bridges is a mirror, i cant select anything, dont see anything written, cant select anybody and after a few seconds bc shuts down automatically
