Torpedo textures and sfx probs
 

Hi,
I'm completely new to the world of modding, so please forgive me if what i am about to type looks totally dumb. Anyway, yesterday i downloaded the New Orleans class mod pack. I THINK i did everything i was meant to do. I copied and pasted all the files into the corresponding folders, like it tells u to do in the readme. I loaded the game and the ships look great, perfect!, until i tried firing a nemesis style quantum torp. No sound effect!. Then i discover that there is also no sound effect for the trilithium torp, which also looks like a white square.

The only reason i can think of, that this is happening is that there is some missing files... any ideas on how to fix this otherwise perfect ship?

Do you have the requirments for the torpedoes installed?

And did the ship come with the torpedoes, or did you already need to have the torpedoes installed?

Doesn't mention anything about requirements in the readme. It does mention the AWP, but i already have that installed. And yes, the torp files did come with the ship pack.

The problem with the nemesis quantums could be quite easy to fix. I think it just needs an appropriate sound file, but i don't know where to put the files i want to use? BCMI is saying that there's a problems with one of the ships (the New Orleans) and has disabled it. The other ships in the pack run perfect though. They are all variants of the New Orleans class (duh!)
