Anyone playing BC on a Linux system?

I was unable to install Bridge Commander on Linux using the Point2Play interface for Cedega (aka WineX), however, I was able to install it using Cedega without Point2Play. The problem is that after the game starts, it cannot find the CD. I do not have this problem with other games and I was able to install Elite Force II with Point2Play. EFII runs well on Linux now.

Does anyone have some idea as to why BC can't find the CD on Linux?
I have played the game on Windows but I do not have a Windows system at the moment.

The copy protection will not stay your only problem. Once you got this "fixed", BC will still not work, because it is simply not supported by transgaming.

I know how you feel...

The game does start, it only fails because it can't find the CD.
EF and EF2 run on Cedega and EF2 is not supported either. Only EF is officially supported.

I will keep trying every time there is a new Cedega release. I think it will work at some point.
