Getting Bridge Commander to run

Hi. I just installed Bridge Commander and I'm having trouble getting it to run. Whenever I click on it, it seems like it's loading, but I just get a black screen and there's nothing I can do but restart the computer.

do you have the patch (not that it will do much to help with that, but some mods need it), and what version of DX do you have?

does the screen have a yellow starfleet cursor, or is it just a plain black screen?

Sounds like he doesn't have any... he just installed it...

My guess is that you don't have the latest version of Direct X. Go to microsoft.com and update to 9.0c, that might get it to work.

Also, what OS do you have?
