Default Nano problem,... game won't save

After much hardship, I figured out that Nano wouldn't work because it was installing to the wrong directory, and not the game.

But now I have a bigger problem. The game won't save. I started the campaign up, and it says it saves whenever an autosave spot comes, but when I go to the load menu, there is nothing there.

really its not best to use saved games with nano. Use the test mode thing to activate the Episodes manualy. Its just like the auto save in every way

The Seaworthy, an enhanced Soveriegn Class capable of warp 9.999, currently most powerful of the enhanced version.

I'm not entirely sure that saving games with mods is even possible. You would think it is...but who knows.
