self destruct mod help
 

I have instructions from a scripter at totally games of how to add in the self destruct countdown. Would anyone be interested in doing it for me? I don't understand the instructions. I am not quite a modder. Anyone if you are interested just post a message here and I will email the instructons to you.[/SIZE]

I'm interested in these instructions. But I can't promise that I will succeed. I did change some mods to get them working but I'm not familiar with python.

So everyone knows, you have to create the mod yourself. You can't distribute the mod without permission. If you can agree to these terms, I will mail the instructions.

Ya I'd manek the mod myself and put you and Totaly games in the credits as giving the instructions. I submit all my files to BCfiles.com

If you don't want them submitted anywhere then I won't

I didn't get the instructions the last words in your message were" Here are the instructions". but there were no instructions

Dreamyards is also interessted in your instruction .. we are modders and scripters so I think we can understand it .. so plz mail them to me .. :)

The instructions are not as detailed as I would have liked to believe. I think I have the First script in the right place but the second one is still unclear.

Well First I just left the scripts in the places it said to with the TAB. Black Screen of Death (game crashes and u get the curser). So then I tried indenting everything but the def. lines becuase thats how the other def. things in the file were. No luck. Next I nade a double TAB for all (APP. lines. No luck. Then I went back to the first script and Tab-ed the _name_ to move it from the (APP. But in the (APP thing there are two (APP lines but they are not spaced. I tried making them seperate lines. no luck. I'm still working on it. There shouldn't be that many more possibilities so I'll say when I've gotten it.

Since no one can figure my instructions out, I have forwarded the instructions and corrections to dreamyards. Before you post the completed mod, I want to try it.
