Question I need some information before release a mod

Hello BC community....sorry for posting this here but i need to know a thing by anyone...

I've almost finished my first HP upgrade for a real good Nemesis-like sovereign...

Now this is an upgrade for the P81's Sovereign that look really cool with Salem-C2extreme quantum replacement...

Now i think u all have Rick Knox sovereign...
I wanted to know how to ask permission to these modders if u know them to include that "quantum torpedo" in my upgrade and if is it ok for Rick Knox if i release this update.

I really would like to release this upgrade...it's my first try and i would like to know your opinion about it and how to improve it if possible.

I dunno how to contact Rick Knox and the others so plz, can anyone help me into requesting them the necessary permission???

PS: obviously i'll give them the necessary credits in the readme file!

Tnx for your time ppl

In the readme files for Salem-C2extreme quantum replacement there should be an email you can contact the author with. Just email him and ask. And as far as i know Rick Knox doesnt make mods for BC anymore.

Well, that depends. Are you just slightly modifying someone elses hardpoint, or did you make your own?

If you made your own, you don't need anyones permission, unless you want to release the model with your mod.

U should ask for the torpedoes, because projectile items should always be included.

Also, ofcourse, list them in your readme, or just add the original readme's from the model and torpedo's to your zip file along with your own.
