ship goin the wrong way

i finely got my ship in the game but now it is going the wrong way dose anyone know how it fix this?

What do you mean exactly? Like reversing when you want to go forward or going to 1 star system when you chose to go to a different one.

when i start the game and pick my ship it starts up and im looking at the bottom of the ship so the back is the top and the front is the bottom

Go into Milkshape, and rotate the ship 90° along the X axis.
It's caused when you import .3ds from another program. .3ds gets rotated, dunno why.
