no, i forgot to tell you to change the extension at the end of the file to .py you may need to have windows show extensions to get it to work.

Also, you may need to change the scripts from read-only. Depends how much you've modded BC.

The extention to the pyc file is what you are talking about?

I have Python installed on my puter so i dont get py or pyc extentions, i just get Python File for all the scripts.

no, change it to .py instead of .txt

the game automaticly generates the .pyc script.

ok I added my ship tp the game and i got ??? for the icon and the pyc did not generate.
What ami doing wrong? Thanks for the help so far

ok nevermind what i said about the pyc file not being generated, i found it but still having probs with no icon and just the ??? in BC

those can be changed at a later date. As for the icon, i hafta look cuz most of my mods don't have ship icons cuz i'm to lazy to add them :-p. But i belive you have to create a folder with the ship targa icon in it. and as for the ??? you can change that useing BCMP after your finshed with the mod.

ok Now i am really upset. I wnt and opened the hardpoint to do some fine tuning in MPE and when i load the hardpoint nothing shows up as to what i put in it when i wrote the hardpoint the first time. Anny idea why this is happeneing?

OK i fixed the problem with opening the hard point.

Now i go and put my ship in the game and i get the Black screen and yellow cursor of death. any help here please?
