I recently went into Armada Multiplayer to find that all the games were yellow. I have version 1.1, so I asked everyone in the room, what version do you all have? Some said 1.1, but others (most) said they had this new version that comes with new CDs, Version 2.0. Due to the fact almost EVERYONE has this new pack, is there a downloadable version of it, without going to the store and buying a CD I already have?
There is no new CD, as far as I know. Armada II is old and most likely out of production in favor of new games, such as Elite Force and the Starfleet Command series. There could be a patch of some kind of Activision's website. I would check there.
which are you talking about? A1 or A2? 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 9999999999999999999% of games in the armada 2 multiplayer is a demo game.
well, maybe they think that the patch makes the game 2.0, or maybe they are using a mod and think it makes the game 2.0, or have the demo and for some reason they think they have a 2.0?
The newest version of Armada II is 1.1 The Armada II game that was released in the Star Trek: Action Pack may be version 1.1 You should see what version the game is in the bottom of the menu screen.
The only reason you would see all yellow games would be if:
- You have modified game files (mods, cheats or any sort of editing)
- You are behind a firewall or some other kind of network security
- You have an illegal version installed (copied cd, no cd crack etc)
If you have modified any files or downloaded any mods you should do a clean install. Uninstall the mod (if it has an uninstaller), uninstall the game, delete the Armada II folder whilst keeping any saved game files, install the game again and patch to version 1.1.
The better way is to make two folders in your Armada 2 folder one for unmoded and one for playing with mods. Then make a batch file that will copy the files from the right folder into your Armada 2 folder, and then start the game. All you need to do is remember which one you are using (Or you could make the batch file remember so it won't copy if you are trying to play the installed one.) The downside is it will take awhile to copy the files. But it should work. Tell me if you want me to make the batch file.
