Back on topic...Is there anything special I need to know about making a backup copy? A notice came in the mail and I can pick it up in the morning.

I had no problems just burning the CD as a backup copy. Make sure you label the disc the same way. I think that's about it.

Yea its illegall but I bet the person with the rights would stand up to do the shouting then you would know who you had to buy it from.

I'm a little late, but I have 2 original CD's plus 2 or 3 copies. I try to use only the copies and save the originals

(same for Armada 1) as I bought each game on their own then later bought that action pack set.
