[Help] installing help

Hello... first of if this been asked over and over again im mega sorry....

ok beginning of the year ive been playing STA2 no problem..... then uninstalled it... had internet installed (Mozilla Firefox) been seeing the stuff you guys been doing and it blew my mind..... getting excited i tryed installing STA2 again but it dont.....

i put disk in.. wait a few seconds.... i click install.... it then seem to beggin to install how ever it does nothing.... just like i didnt even put disk in or anything.... i would very much apritate your advise please..

Just try leaving the installer running in the background; it might install. I haven't had this problem myself, however other people have had the problem and reported that leaving it for an extended period works.

Which OS are you running, Vista?

no it is windows xp

how ever... finally i have figured it out

in case any one has this problem..... (1)press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to open up the windows task manager..... (2) go on to the processes tab.... (3) look in the list for rundll32 and right click on it.... (4) click end process and close of windows task manager.... (5) disable your connection to the internet (its only while you install) (6) then install STA2 (7) connect back to the net.

realy hope this helps. remember this is just how i done it... im no computer wizard.
