Default Troubleshooting Tutorial?

I'm starting to think we should put together a troubleshooting tutorial. All the normal problems and then for good measure we could throw in some of the walls we have run headlong into and our fixes. having a guide such as this contributed to by all the major modders would be a great help to all I think and also be a way to streamline that painful learning process of trial and error for newbies. Saving each other CTD's I think will be a good way to advance all the mods current and future.

I put something like this together on Starbase 34:

www.starbase34.net - Crash Correction Checklist

Not sure how useful it is, but it could surely use an expansion.

Visit Starbase34.net, still the best A2 tutorial site around.

I agree. I saw a lot of questions about the "Swap File Error" in the last weeks. The checklist on SB34 was very useful last year when I started modding - it deserves some attention.

I think it is something worth looking into, I've been modding for years but i still forget mistakes I've made and repeat them.

Is anyone still interested in working on making like a master uber-troubleshooting tutorial?
