help i want my ships to target multiple enemies!!!

I want the ships to be able to target 2 or 3 different targets at once. What do i have to do to make this happen?

As far as I know, any weapon can be made into a multi-targeter by adding these lines to it's ODF:

maxTargets = 5

classLabel = "areacannon"

Max targets can be changes to as many targets as you want.
