Default router problem

Hey guys, Ive run into some problems with playing online. I installed armada 2 and the 1.1 patch and i cant join games, nor create them... I get the error msg, your external ip adress differs from the internal one. On some other forums i was suggested to forward ports armada uses and I have but the problem persists. (if someone can copy them here i would be grateful perhaps i forwarded the wrong ones, i forwarded the oens you can find in the help section, in game). So what can a desperate guy do?

If your on an internal network then your probably using a NAT (Network Address Translator) You need to set it up to foward these ports onto your internal IP address on your network.

Protocol Port Range

UDP 2300 - 2400

TCP 6073 - 6073

TCP 6667 - 6667

UDP 13139 - 13139

UDP 27900 - 27900

TCP 28900 - 28900

TCP 29900 - 29900

TCP 29901 - 29901

Any 13139 - 13139

Any 6515 - 6515

Any 6500 - 6500

Any 6667 - 6667

Any 3783 - 3783

If your using a DHCP system then it would be worth considering putting yourself on a static IP address so it doesn't change and mess your foward up.

As a side note, the ones that are listed as "ANY" under protocol are where I got fedup selecting TDP/UDP on my firewall and selected the any option which allows either in.
