| Out of all the mods I've downloaded and used, Star Wars Fleet Command in my eyes is the best. And yet I've played it hundreds of times and wanted to see, hear, and do more with the mod. So, I've decided to work on a new version of Fleet Command. I have a very sharp eye for perfection and flaws. But there's no way I'd do this without getting permission first. I'll need the help of a few other modders to pull this off. But with help, this new version of Fleet Command will rock. If I'm allowed to release this mod, there will be changes to weapons, weapon textures, ship sizes, some new sound effects, and a few new ships. Please, I'm only a rookie at this stuff :P, so any advice or feedback is very much appreciated. |

| Stalker is like the only one contactable these days and even saying that he is hard to get a hold of. I managed to get a hold of him in 2006 about using some of the SW Fleet Command gear in Parallels and he was very accommodating and said yes as long as credit was included. I don't speak for him but as I see it, as long as you try to contact him or a member of his team and include full credits it should be okay. TIP: Get in contact with Major Payne, I think he knows how to contact Stalker as it was he who if I remember correctly pointed me in the direction of Stalker.

| Stalker and Angel are EXTREMELY difficult to get hold of. I've seen stalker around on MSN twice in the last 2 years and not seen Angel for almost double that length of time. I've handled permission for this before and as Stalker passed it to me in his absense then I'll remake this public statement: "All permissions granted for usage of materials from Star Wars vs Star Trek based mods originally released for both STA1/2 (this permission extends to Fleet Command as well), provided credit from mods original readme is included in any forthcoming mod in exactly the same context as originally made." I would also hasten to suggest you include the original readme from Fleet Command as you'll cover yourself in both ways ![]() Happy modding!!

| Thanks for the input. But there's something else. The sound effects. I have some great ideas for some new sound effects. But where can I get the sound effects without running into legal issues? :P |

| Well all, the mod is almost complete. All I have to do now is work on the AI. Trust me, this update for Star Wars Fleet Command is awesome |
