Big Book Of Modding I am creating an ODF Editor, I know we have a lot of those, but this will include a little more features that I will explain in another post to introduce it. I don't have the time to make a full read-me about ODF's, so I was hoping that I could use Westworlds Big book of Modding. The only problem with this is I can't get any contact information from the author, and I want permission rather than just writing, this came from the BBoM. If he said that he didn't mind anyone using his work as long as proper credit is given, then can someone tell me please, because I am relitivly new (Been here since June) and I know that the book was made before I came here so I missed out on everything. Any help is appreciated. |
Re: Big Book Of Modding Ive just had a look at the BBOM and there are 2 contact addresses- Westworld48@hotmail.com ICQ # 81427064 Hope This Helps |
Re: Big Book Of Modding I do not beleive putting in extracts and saying underneath each one (from BBoM) or at the end "all extracts from BBoM" will breach any credits. It's a tutorial, spread it about as far as I'm concerned. You may want to put somewhere a reference to viewing all of it. Ask MaP if you really want, seeing as how he was involved with it. |
Re: Big Book Of Modding I didnt see any contact information in mine. But i might have over looked it, its so big. I was planning on just putting the whole thing in there, with some changes with the navigation of course. |
Re: Big Book Of Modding You can PM Westworld over at AFC. I did a few months ago. He is an Admin there and still pretty active, just doesn't post alot. |
