Angry build button probs

I downloaded several ships from here, but the build buttons that came with them were different from the original kind and really stood out so I decided I would make my own.

I found the original ones, and made a blank button from one that came with the game. Well I took a picture of the ship I was making a button for with PSP's screenshot utility and then put it on the blank. I saved it as the original file name for that ship, and it looked good in PSP. When I started the game, it was just a lightl grey square. I have Paint Shop Pro 7.04 and saved it as TGA, does anyone know whats wrong with it?

When you go to save your build button select the option to "Save As..." When the dialogue box appears choose the OPTIONS button and make sure to select UNCOMPRESSED and 24BIT COLOUR. The build button filesize should be around 13kbs.
