I think it's great and an honor of sorts to be conversing with some of you. I'm only now really taking my moding of my personal build seriously (within my limited capabilities of modding) but I feel years behind when all the greats were actively modding like Achilles and Major Payne. I'd name more and we all know who they are but then I'd feel guilty if I left someone out.
I posted and got replies from others in years past but then would move on to another game and feel like I forgot Armada 2.
Aad and perhaps Dan seem to be the only ones putting out anything in volume the last year or two and I love and use most of their stuff. I can only imagine some of the goodies some of you have on your hard drives that never got released. I've been re-reading old posts and thought I'd inquire about the Guncutter when I read it again.
Part of me does feel a little guilty for pillaging each of your works for the bits and pieces I want to use and I'm like a kid in a candy store.
Rifraf. Why apologise? Every modder and modeller alike has learnt from other people's work in the past. After you learn the basics though, it's then that a modder or modeller tends to develope their own methods.
To me, its all part of the learning process. Deconstruct a mod to see how so and so did something. Kit bash a model to get a feel for the model making. Heck, I am still learning.
Achilles: Good to see you mate and hope that you are doing well.
